“The War’s Curse”

War has many faces, if you passed the threshold of physical death in it, you may be afflicted with the curse of grief over the loss, the curse of the humiliation of living, or the curse of the mental pain that accompanies you in every word and moment. After that, the war leaves you with a legacy, which is “The Curse of The Days”.

I am a resident doctor at Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir El-Balah in the middle area of Gaza strip, who works in 24-hour shifts with a few hours rest in between. I have been tirelessly working since the beginning of the genocide without a salary.

Our people are in dire need of us at this time, and we have not hesitated to provide service to them despite the extent of the pain and challenges we are experiencing.

Together, we share the same suffering and the same fate. Your help is not only for a doctor from Gaza, but for an entire people who have been suffering for a long time. Your support for Gaza’s doctors means our continuity in serving our people with pride and dignity.
