On This Spot
Where I used to lie on my couch in front of TV, where I used to put my tired body after my duties to get some relief, and where I used to sit with my parents, brother and my little sister as a family. Here is where we made memories and moments of joy.
Here is where our laughs were loud enough to break the echo. Here is where we’re having arguments and concerns. And here is where we’re creating dreams.
Now, here is what the war does, it kills you physically & mentally and uproots your memory. It changes your perspective about the meaning of life and about the narrative of death.
Then I quote from myself:
“War has many faces. If you pass the threshold of physical death in it, you may be afflicted with the curse of grief over the loss, the curse of the humiliation of living, or the curse of the mental pain that accompanies you in every word and moment.
After That, the war leaves you with a legacy, which is “The Curse of The Days”.
