I Have Grown A Hundred Years

Do you know who I am?

I am from there, from the land of oblivion. I was born an old man afflicted with premature aging. What you had of childhood tunes did not afflict me. The train of life passed next to me with the speed of light without me dreaming as the angels dream, without me dropping a semicircle on a scrap of paper to remind me of the sun, without me recognizing my innocence that was assassinated in the space of intuition, and without me learning to decipher the letters of the language completely.

I am from there,
From the land of death
and the cruelty of the years,
And
I am from there,
From a land
that loved the life once
but the memory of nostalgia
abandoned it.
