The Tent

It’s the living nightmare of the Gazan
It’s his renewed NAKBA
And
his despaired memory.

It’s his summer’s hell
And
His winter’s madness,
Even the spring there
is swinging between them

Then, the Gazan
Continues to share his tragedy
with himself,
with no one listening to him,
And he falls asleep
without falling asleep,
Carrying the pain of the earth
And
The tragedy of modern history.
